Raleigh Convention Center

Crowder was awarded the $17 million structural concrete package for the new Raleigh Convention Center in October 2005. Crowder’s work includes footings, grade beams, slab on grade, columns, beams, pan joists, suspended slabs, and slabs on metal deck. Crowder’s Construction Solution Division is currently in the middle of this work with a
project completion date of January 2007.

Cats I-485 Parking Deck

Crowder was awarded the CATS (Charlotte Area Transit System) I-485 Parking Deck in 2005. The $21 million project includes clearing, excavation, heavy civil concrete, electoral, and site work. The Parking Deck will be complete in January 2007 and will serve riders of Charlotte’s Light Rail System.
