NORTH CAROLINA BUILDING STAR PROGRAM
Based on Crowder Construction Company's commitment to employee safety and health in the workplace and the comprehensive programs that are in place, the North Carolina Department of Labor designated Crowder a North Carolina Building STAR Company in 2002. This is a designation awarded to companies with an outstanding safety and health program and accident and injury statistics that qualify to meet the NCDOL criteria. This program is administered by the North Carolina Department of Labor, OSHA Division and follows the guidelines of the Federal OSHA Voluntary Protection Program.
As a Building STAR contractor, we have made a commitment to ensure all of our employees are a strong and vital part of our safety and health program in the workplace. We stress this through never ending safety and health training, our Pre Task Planning program implemented on every jobsite, our employee safety incentive program and of course our management commitment towards employee safety and health.
Crowder maintains this prestigious honor through a rigorous renewal process that occurs every three years. Our most recent recertification was in 2005. |
